Powerful political presence that would be vocal in addressing the union subject is needed in the Parliaments of Chisinau and Bucharest, head of the organization “Honor, Dignity and Homeland” Vlad Biletski stated in the program “People’s Council” on 10TV channel, IPN reports.
“No matter how the union is made – by technical, diplomatic and political methods – it requires the people’s will and can be performed only if the political forces assume this message,” stated Vlad Biletski. The activist said he sees no political force that would be near ODIP in the Union Caravan and would undertake to cover the costs.
The ODIP head noted that the lack of people and financial resources is the biggest problem faced during the Caravan. “We would like to be more in number and more people to become involved and follow and propagate the union idea,” stated Vlad Biletski.
Within the Union Caravan, young volunteers of Moldova go to communities to inform the population about the benefits of Moldova’s union with Romania. This year the event involves 25 young people and is held between July 1 and August 13.
