Vitalie Vrabie will head State Commission for Strategic Defence Analysis

Minister of Defence Vitalie Vrabie will hold the presidency of the State Commission for Strategic Defence Analysis of Moldova. The Commission was constituted to achieve the objectives stipulated in the National Programme for implementing the Moldova-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP). The Commission is composed of the head of the National Army General Staff Ion Coropcean (vice chairman), head of the Military Policy and Foreign Relations Division of the Defence Ministry Valeriu Mija (secretary), chairman of the Parliament’s Commission for National Security, Defence and Public Order Iurie Stoicov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Eugenia Kistruga, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Andrei Sumleanschi, head of the Justice Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance Ludmila Dimitrisin, deputy head of the Security and Information Service Valentin Dediu, head of the Apparatus of the Border Guard Service’s Director General Rosian Vasiloi and main adviser in the Service of the Supreme Security Council of the Moldovan President’s Office Anatolii Cociug. Under the presidential decree published in the Official Gazette on October 26, the Commission will work out the plan for carrying out the Strategic Defence Analysis and will present reports on the implementation of the IPAP. The Moldova-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan covers the period between 2006 and 2009.
