Vitalie Prisacaru secured at least the bronze medal at the European Junior Boxing Championships that are taking place in Bulgaria. The 16-year-old athlete so far won two victories in the 48 kg weight class, IPN reports.
Prisacaru eliminated the boxers from Armenia and Denmark and on September 24 will fight a representative of the hosts in the semifinals. Vitalie Prisacaru is from Balti and is trained by Igor Pupcov and Alexandru Curosul.
Adrian Bucsa (52 kg class), Vasile Cebotari (54 kg), Vladislav Gudzi (60 kg) and Iugar Alahvirdiev (63 kg) are also fighting for medals at the European Boxing Championships in Bulgaria.
