The persons who travel by taxi and notice fiscal deviations in the operator’s activity are urged to report the irregularities through an online petitions line that was launched by the State Tax Service. The complaints can be sent to the email address taxi.petitie@sfs.md and the information will be verified by the responsible divisions, IPN reports.
By a press release, the State Tax Service reminds all the taxi services of the obligation to use cash registers when providing road passenger transportation services and to officially hire drivers.
The beneficiaries of taxi services can refuse to pay for the trip if they are not issued with a receipt on paper or in electronic form.
