Eleven settlements of the districts Orhei, Calarasi, Hancesti, Leova and of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia have been partially disconnected from the supply of electricity following the torrential rain of the evening of July 11, IPN reports.
Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan said that 13 settlements of eight districts remained in the darkness yesterday evening.
Head of the Green Areas Association Eliferii Haruta said that the heavy rain in Chisinau downed ten trees, while a vehicle was slightly damaged by branches that fell on it.
