The teachers and doctors from villages, with large job records, will not benefit of compensations for getting their households connected to the gas pipe, although the young specialists are granted the subsidies. This happens after the executive rejected an initiative of parliamentarian Vladimir Braga to extend the categories benefiting of those allocations, Info-Prim Neo reports. The MP suggests that the list should be added categories of families of doctors, teachers and culture employees, who have reached a job record of at least 50 years, and 25 years for singles. The cost of connecting one's household to the gas pipe reaches in some localities as much as 10,000-13,000 lei. The compensations granted by the Government cover some 10% of expenses. It would help anyway those categories of people with small incomes, writes the MP in his note to the bill. The Government did not endorse the draft, reasoning additional expenditures not provided in the budget law cannot be admitted. The Government points out that those people receive social benefits from the state, including material aid, as provided by the law in force.
