Viisoara won the national veterans football championship for the first time. The team from Speia emerged victorious after beating ex-champion Geotermal Chisinau 3-0, IPN reports.
Viisoara Speia scored 31 points, by two more than Poliproject Chisinau. Avantul Nimoreni ranked third. The current championship involved seven teams.
Viisoara will also compete in the final of Veterans League that will take place in Vadul lui Voda town on November 25 this year.
