A video-digital Romanian language and literature textbook for the tenth, eleventh and twelfth grades, designed by the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of Chisinau municipality, is promoted among teachers and students. The textbook is a revolutionary product of general interest that can be found on www.literaturaromana.md, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Division.
The video-digital textbook does not exclude the typographic textbooks and is a supplement to them. The content of the video-digital textbook consists of printed literary texts and their artistic reading by actors in audio version and also filmed fragments of plays, recitals and staged and animated literary works, sections of Romanian feature films, theory notions and literary criticism, comments by literary critics. The textbook also includes bibliographies of writers, singers, film directors and actors, caricatures and amusing facts about authors, tasks and interactive exercises with elements of graphic and animation.
According to the Division, being interactive, the textbook enables the teachers and students to study the discipline by using active participatory techniques. The interactive, digital, artistic and attractive character of the textbook helps lyceum students to assimilate faster and more efficiently. The textbook is recommended for being used in education institutions.
