Victor Parlikov named director general of ANRE Administration Board

Economist expert Victor Parlikov was voted in as director general of the Administration Board of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) for a six-year period by a majority of votes at Tuesday's sitting of the Parliament. Victor Parlikov, 31, has worked as an economic analyst in energy and business at the Institute for Development and Social Initiative IDIS “Viitorul” since 2008. The Parliament also named two directors of the ANRE Administration Board for two-year and fur-year periods. Leonid Belinski, chief engineer at the thermoelectric plant CET-1, and Maria Botezatu, director of consultancy and financial management projects, will hold the posts during four years. Marin Profir, who acted as the executive director of the ANRE since 2003 until present, while during 2000-2003 as director of the ANRE Administration Board, and jurist Nicolae Raileanu will work on the Board during two years. As Marin Profir vacated the post of executive director of the ANRE, the agency's Administration Board will select a candidate for this position. The candidates for director general and directors of the ANRE Administration Board were put forward by the parliamentary commission for economy, budget and finances.
