A working meeting of the political representatives to the Transnistrian conflict settlement process, Victor Osipov and Nina Shtanski, will take place in Tiraspol on August 13, IPN reports.
According to a communique of the Reintegration Office, the agenda proposed for discussion contains a number of subjects of major interest for the population from both sides of the Nistru River and for the Transnistrian conflict settlement talks. The delegation of Chisinau considers this meeting, which is organized several months after the suspension of the dialogue between the sides, as one that will show the prospects of developing this dialogue.
The meeting will take place at the head office of the OSCE Mission in Tiraspol. Representatives of the mediators and observers to the Transnistrian conflict settlement talks in the 5+2 format were invited to it. After the meeting, the two negotiators will make statements for the press.
