Communist MP Victor Mandru considers the spring-summer session of Parliament was held in difficult conditions, but this was anticipated. In his speech at the end of session, the lawmaker said given that the goal of forming the governments was to only banally divide the institutions of power, no other results could be expected, IPN reports.

“The division in society deepens visibly and the impasse and socioeconomic crisis worsens, while the habits of the rulers remained the same, being characterized by non-professionalism and irresponsibility, with personages who deal with intrigues, settling of an old score and personal and group interests,” said the lawmakers.

Victor Mandru considers the current Cabinet, as the previous ones, was formed based on political criteria, without taking into account the competence of persons named to posts. There is not much hope that the current government will come with a consistent anti-crisis program, given the program presented before the investiture. The current session was one of the most inefficient. The number of plenary sittings was two times lower than last year.

In the end, the Communist MP called on his colleagues from all the factions, first of all from the parties of the governing coalition, to leave the personal interests and narrow group interests aside and to act in the interests of the country and whole society.

The MPs’ vacation ends in September.
