Viorel Iordachescu was elected first vice president of the National Unity Party (PUN) in the December 21 meeting of the party’s National Political Council, IPN reports, with reference to a press release of the PUN.
The elected vice presidents of the PUN are: Ion Cobyshenko, Ana Guțu, Igor Petcu, Laura Urschi, Victoria Botnari, Valentina Nicolenko, Dorin Dushchak, Sergiu Burlacu and Corneliu Pântea.
At the start of December, the PUN elected Octavian Țîcu as president instead of Anatol Șalaru, with the latter being named as secretary general.
