The fire that happened in a building on Pushkin St on the night of August 12 could have been caused by a short circuit. This is one of the hypotheses formulated by employees of the Anti-fire Experimental Laboratory, IPN reports.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, another hypothesis is the violation of the anti-fire rules when installing electrical equipment. The versions will be examined by specialists, who will present a final conclusion within ten days.

A building on Pushkin St, which houses the restaurants “Vatra Neamului” and “La Taifas”, started to burn close to midnight. Nine firefighting vehicles travelled to the scene. These were later joined by more teams. The firemen managed to extinguish the fire towards morning. Nobody was hurt.
