Veronica Herta was appointed as director of the public utility SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau”, at the suggestion of the company’s Administration Board and following the approval of the general assembly. The new director takes up her duties on September 9, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Chisinau City Hall says that in her new job, Veronica Herta will first of all ensure the unblocking of the €60 million project to modernize SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” that is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank.
Since February 2010, Veronica Herta had managed the Chisinau General Finance Division, while since April 2016 had served as the president of the Administration Board of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau”.
Veronica Herta will hold the post of director of the company for a particular period of time and the General Finance Division in the period will be managed by a functionary of the Division, until she returns.
