Two ambulatory vendors selling near the Central Market in Chisinau were fined 1,000 to 2,000 lei. According to Adrian Jovmir, the head of the General Police Commissariat’s press office, a group of vendors were selling by the roadside, blocking traffic. When the police officers told them to change the place, they abused them verbally, using rude words, Info-Prim Neo reports. The policemen drew up reports against two of the sellers under article 273 of the Code of Administrative Offences – breach of trade rules. Another two vendors were warned. The two vendors were fined 50 to 100 conventional units or 1,000 to 2,000 lei. They will pay only half of the fine if it is paid within three days.
