Bicyclists and those on kickboards are invited to compete in the Velo Road Chisinau race on June 19, starting at 10am. The starting point is the Chisinau City Hall. Those who want to take part need to fill out a form on the website of the event, IPN report.
According to the organizers, the route was planned so that it goes through the most beautiful places of the capital city. The competitors will set off from the Chisinau City Hall and will then run along the streets Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt – Mihai Viteazul – Petricani – Calea Orheiului – Bogdan Voievod – Alecu Russo – Mihail Sadoveanu and will stop at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center.
Chisinau Municipal Youth Center communicator Nicoleta Shova said the goal of the event is to strengthen cycling among citizens. Also, the contenders will familiarize themselves better with the city and will spend a Sunday morning on the move. A healthy lifestyle is this way promoted.
The event is organized by the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center in partnership with the Chisinau City Hall.
