Chisinau residents are advised to clean up graves in the city’s cemeteries until April 26. After this date, access of private vehicles to cemeteries will be restricted.
From April 27, the access of cars will be limited on the territory of the “Saint Lazarus” Cemetery on Doina Street, and from April 28 in other cemeteries, including the Central Cemetery on Mateevici Street, the Catholic Cemetery on Trandafirilor Street, the Holy Trinity on Muncești Street, the Sculeni Cemetery on Călărași Street, the Ștefan Ciobanu Cemetery on Decembriștilor Street, the Buiucanii Vechi Cemetery on Bisericii Street, the Băcioii Noi Cemetery, the Petricani Cemetery and Ciocana Cemetery on Industriala Street.
The measure is in connection with municipal cleanup efforts ahead of Easter, the local authorities say.
