The model of the vehicle registration certificate will be changed to make it compliant with the EU directives in the field, IPN reports, quoting a Government decision.

Thus, a number of notions will be replaced. “Model” will be substituted by “type of vehicle”, while “type of coachwork” by “commercial description”. There will be introduced the rubric “J2 type of coachwork”, while the “number of engine” will be excluded and made optional.

The changes will be applied when conditions are created for putting the new model of certificate into circulation, but not later than March 1, 2018. The certificates issued before the new provisions take effect will be valid until their period of validity expires.

The price for issuing a vehicle registration certificate will remain unchanged.
