Vegetable prices in Transnistria almost 12% up

The fruit and vegetables in the Transnistrian region have grown dearer. The food prices in September rose by over 2% on average. The prices of vegetables increased by 12, while of fruit by 3.2%, IPN reports.

According to “Novyi Region” Agency, the deflation witnessed in Transnistrian in summer was replaced by inflation. The inflation for January-September is 2.38%. The Transnistrian administration forecast an inflation rate of 7-8% for 2013.

The nonfood prices rose insignificantly, by less than 1%. The prices of services decreased by 0.14%.
