The prices of most of the vegetables at the market declined compared with last week. Tomatoes are by several lei cheaper now. One kilogram can be bought for 8 lei. The cucumbers are sold for 5 lei/kg and up, while cabbage and vegetable marrows for 4 lei/kg, IPN reports.
One kilogram of eggplants costs 12 lei, of bell peppers 7 to 9 lei, of pods 15 lei and up, while a bunch of parsley, dill and green onion tops 2 lei as earlier.
Apricots are sold for 10 lei per kg and up, peaches for 8 lei per kg, raspberry and gooseberry for 30 lei per kg, while black, red and white currant for 35 lei and up. Tart cherries cost 25-30 lei/kg.
Watermelons now can be bought for even 5 lei/kg, while melons for 8-10 lei. A comb with corn is sold for 4-5 lei.
Egg prices also decreased slightly. Ten eggs can be bought for 11 lei. Pork is sold for 65 lei/kg, beef for 70-75 lei/kg, ewe’s cheese for 65 lei, cow cheese for 40-50 lei, sour cream for 35 lei, while butter for 80 lei.
