Former Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta has left the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM). The information was confirmed by the party’s press service, IPN reports.
Veaceslav Negruta submitted an application to withdraw from the PLDM, arguing the membership in the party is incompatible with the professional activities he intends to carry out.
The PLDM said Veaceslav Negruta is a professional who successfully performed his tasks of minister of finance. He made a significant contribution to overcoming the economic-financial crisis of 2009 and to modernizing the financial-budgetary system of Moldova.
Veaceslav Negruta resigned from the post of minister of finance on August 14.
