All the actions taken by President Igor Dodon in the period between last July and present are nothing but revenge taken following his suspensions by the Constitutional Court during three years. Ex-minister of finance Veaceslav Negruța said Igor Dodon assumed the role of coordinator of the parliamentary majority, IPN reports.
“If there was rule of law in which each functionary abided by the law, everyone would obey the law. In Moldova, there is one free position, called coordinator of majorities. President Dodon sees now himself a coordinator and gives all kinds of instructions to people whom he named to posts. It’s not a surprise that the President abuses his authority and gives instructions to the Government. Those from the Government give instruction to the City Hall, while those from the City Hall go abroad. This situation is unpardonable. Everyone should fulfill their duties,” Veaceslav Negruța stated in the talk show “Emphasis on Today” on TVR Moldova channel.
Deputy Parliament Speaker Alexandru Slusari, MP of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”, said the goal of the incumbent President is to gain benefits from his office.
“He ran in the presidential elections of 2016 not in order to understand something. For him, any post in the state is a means for enriching himself, for earning money. He understands only what he needs,” stated Alexandru Slusari.
The participants in the program developed the issue after the National Integrity Authority announced that it will check the property and interests of President Igor Dodon.
