The vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Mihai Bîlba, notes that the Republic of Moldova has a good cooperation with Romania, and the most recent example is the 4th edition of the "Republic of Moldova Presents" exhibition, organized in Piața Sfatului in Brasov city. During the event, more than 40 Moldovan companies presented their products and services to more than 15 thousand visitors. During the three days of the exhibition, more than 20 contacts and agreements of intent were initiated among businesses from the two states.

Mihai Bîlba highlighted the role of the Chamber in the development of Moldovan-Romanian bilateral trade relations within the framework of the Moldovan Regional Economic Forum, which takes place between July 4-6 in Vatra Dornei, Romania.

“Since 2016, we have been organizing this beautiful event in more than 6 regions in Romania and we want this exhibition to become a traditional one, because we are expected by Romanian consumers, and this makes us much more competitive. At the same time, entrepreneurs from Moldova and Romania participated in joint events, such as economic missions, forums, exchange of experiences, and from this year, the CCI of the Republic of Moldova and colleagues from Brașov launched the Program to Increase the Capacities of Managers from the Republic of Moldova, who establish business contacts with entrepreneurs from Romania. The CCI of the Republic of Moldova has a good cooperation with the Romanian chamber institution, and the Ungheni Branch of the CCI of the Republic of Moldova has even signed several cooperation contracts with the regional Chambers in Romania. We are open for effective cooperation”, said Mihai Bîlba.

Between July 4 and 6, the Casino Băilor Museum Center in Vatra Dornei hosts the 18th edition of the Moldova Regional Economic Forum. This event brings together experts, leaders and decision-makers to discuss the planning and cooperation necessary to achieve the strategic objectives set for Moldova 2030. The central objective of the Forum is to ensure the necessary conditions for "Planning and Cooperation on the strategic objective: Moldova 2030".
