Former prime minister Vasile Tarlev, a candidate for the office of President, believes that the neutrality status of the Republic of Moldova is the key to the peaceful and stable development of the country. In his opinion, the neutrality of the Republic of Moldova ensures the security and independence of all citizens, IPN reports.
“Neutrality is the foundation of Moldova’s peaceful future. We are obliged to keep it for the well-being of all Moldovan citizens,” said the politician.
Also, Vasile Tarlev underlined the importance of the territorial integrity of the country, stressing that the Moldovan land is a sacred inheritance that must be preserved and transmitted to future generations.
“We call on all citizens, public organizations, political forces, scientists, representatives of culture, the clergy, young people, as well as all those who had to leave the country, but are Moldovans in heart and soul, to unite to defend our common home for the sake of the future of the country, of its multinational people, for the sake of our Motherland – Moldova,” stated ex-premier.
The candidate for the office of President of the Republic of Moldova expressed his confidence that, through unity, the Moldovan people will be able to overcome all challenges and restore confidence in the bright future of the country. “We will succeed in building a strong and prosperous country in which peace, justice and prosperity reign. Moldova was, is and will be forever,” noted the election contestant.
