Valeriu Zubco proposed for Prosecutor General

The Parliament on Wednesday will appoint Moldova's Prosecutor General for a five-year-period. The candidate fielded for this post is Valeriu Zubco, Info-Prim Neo reports. Valeriu Zubco is 44. From 2005 until present, he has been a member of the Scientific Council of the Constitutional Court, while from 2007 – a member of the Scientific Council of the Supreme Court of Justice. He is also the president of the “Ex Lege”Agency for Supporting Juridical Education and Law Bodies. He also teaches administrative and constitutional law at universities. The post of Prosecutor General fell vacant on September 25 following Valeriu Gurbulea's resignation.
