Valeriu Turea was appointed as head of the Bureau for Diaspora Relations by an ordinance made by the Government on July 1. Acting Prime Minister Natalia Gherman said Valeriu Turea completed his duties as Moldova’s Ambassador to Portugal and, given his knowledge and experience, including diplomatic, he is suitable for the new post.
Also today, the Government dismissed Natalia Gavrilita from the post of state secretary of the Ministry of Education based on the resignation tendered by her. Acting Minister of Education Maia Sandu said she regrets the leaving of Natalia Gavrilita, but noted that it happens so when the remuneration does not match the efforts required by the post held.
