Premier Valeriu Strelet received a congratulatory message from his Romanian counterpart Victor Ponta on his appointment as Moldova’s Prime Minister. The message was transmitted to Valeriu Strelet in a meeting with the charge d’affaires of the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau Cristian Leon Turcanu, IPN has learned from the Government’s press service.
“Romania will continue to support the implementation of the pro-European reform agenda aimed at developing and modernizing Moldova,” said Cristian Leon Turcanu.
Valeriu Strelet highly appreciated the constant support offered by the Government of Romania to Moldova and expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided in the process of adjusting the national legislation to the legislation of the EU.
In the meeting, the interlocutors discussed topical issues from the agenda of cooperation between Moldova and Romania, especially concerning Moldova’s energy security and the ensuring of financial-banking stability.
