Liberal-Democratic MP Valeriu Giletski said he could join the new parliamentary majority formed recently, but his decision will depend on who is nominated for premiership. He made such statements in the talk show “Place for dialogue” on the public station Radio Moldova, IPN reports.
“It is about particular red lines. We could take part in governance if these red lines are not crossed. It’s not yet clear if there is a split inside the PLDM, but the situation changes every hour,” stated Giletski. He admitted that the PLDM does not have chances to take part in governance. “There are possibly chances to take part in governance, but these are slim.”
Valeriu Giletski also said that the PLDM is also to blame for the political crisis. “I always said that we must take part in governance. The blockage is due to the PLDM too. I regret that we didn’t manage to identify a solution to the crisis and to keep the parliamentary group whole,” he stated.
Seven MPs of the PLDM on January 11 announced that they will vote for the Government and the candidate for Prime Minister that will be proposed by the PDM.
