The general prosecutor's office has asked the EU special representative to Moldova, Kalman Mizsei, to appoint a medical legal expert to be part of the Commission to make the medical legal expertise in the case of the death of Valeriu Boboc. He has allegedly died after been beaten by policemen after the April 7 protests, Info-Prim Neo reports. The idea to set up a commission joining more experts belongs to the Buiucani district prosecutors from Chisinau, reads a communique of the general prosecutor. In case of a possible expertise, Valeriu Boboc's may be exhumed. This position is also upheld by Boboc's parents as legal successors. Prosecutors go on investigating the case as minutely as possible. Valeriu Boboc, aged 23, was arrested by the police on reason he would have attended the violent protests of April 7. The prosecutors have repeatedly specified he died because of intoxication with an unidentified substance. Yet his parents claim he was beaten to death by policemen. He left a wife and a toddler.
