VadimVacarciuc is the next substitute candidate for MP on the list of the Liberal Party, the party’s deputy chairman ValeriuMunteanu has told IPN. Vacarciuc can take the seat of Victor Popa, who was elected as Constitutional Court judge on March 29.
VadimVacarciuc, 41, is a professional weightlifter. He took part in the Olympic Games for four consecutive times. In 1996 and 2000, he carried Moldova’s flag at the Olympics. He is now the deputy head of the local organization of the Liberal Party in Balti.
The Liberal Party has 12 representatives in Parliament.
