Vadim Misin hopeful PDM – PCRM alliance will be formed

Communist MP Vadim Misin Monday told the press that he hopes a PDM – PCRM alliance would be formed as the two parties share many values and principles, Info-Prim Neo reports. Vadim Misin stressed that the two parties are now having discussions. According to him, the PCRM is ready to negotiate the formation of a government coalition with any of the parties that entered Parliament as the political crisis should be resolved. The MP voiced hope that the legislative body will convene by the end of this year and there will be formed a ruling alliance. Asked by the journalists if he will vote for the candidacy of the PDM leader Marian Lupu for the post of head of state, Vadim Misin said the discussions now center on the principles, not yet on the distribution of posts. Moldova's statehood and the status of neutrality are the main principles shared by the PCRM and PDM, according to Vadim Misin. Asked if the possible PDM – PCRM coalition would be able to find the four votes needed to elect the head of state, Vadim Misin said he hopes there will be conscious persons in Parliament who will vote for the President. He also said that the PL could give these votes if its leader Mihai Ghimpu liked the candidate for the presidency. The Communist lawmaker stated that meetings are to take place today and that the PCRM received yet no invitation to dialogue from the PLDM.
