The persons who got a vaccine against COVID-19 can check or download the vaccine certificate in electronic format through vaccinare.gov.md and certificate-covid.gov.md as from today, July 21, IPN reports.

Denis Cernelea, secretary of state at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, said the vaccine certificate contains two QR code identifiers, while the text of the certificate is in three languages (Romanian, Russian and English).

The vaccine certificate, with all the security elements, fully corresponds to the provisions of the EU and practically all the states that managed to digitize the vaccine certificate. Using it in any of the states should not be a problem. The vaccine certificate does not have a period of validity at the current stage.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection published a video tutorial to facilitate the downloading of the certificate. This was designed as part of the Word Bank-funded Moldova Emergency COVID-19 Response Project.

Over 895,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the Republic of Moldova so far. To get vaccinated, the people can go to the family doctor or can make an appointment online through www.vaccinare.gov.md.
