The vacations of students will be unified for all the education levels, the Ministry of Education has announced following relevant instructions given by Prime Minister Pavel Filip earlier this month, IPN reports.
Thus, the vacations during the 2017-2018 academic year will as follows: autumn vacation – October 30 – November 5; interterm (winter) vacation – December 23 – January 8; spring vacation – March 8 - March 11; Easter vacation – April 7 – April 16, and summer vacation – June 1 and August 31.
At the start of April, Pavel Filip warned the Ministry of Education about the desynchronization of the autumn and winter vacations of the first-fourth graders and fifth-twelfth graders and asked that the vacation calendar for the new academic year should be reviewed.
