Students of the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) received job and internship offers from about 100 national and foreign companies within a job fair staged by the University on November 24, IPN reports.
Among the companies that took part in the fourth fair of the kind were Termoelectrica, Moldtelecom, Franzeluta, Apa Canal Chisinau, GasNaturalFenosa, Moldovagaz, Lafarge, Lear Corporation, Draxlmaier, and Fujikura.
The specialists in IT, mechanical and electrical engineering and light and textile industry were in great demand.
According to the organizers, such fairs are held twice a year and are very appreciated by students as they offer them possibilities not only of identifying the potential place for internship and cooperation in the period of studies, but also of finding a job.
The event ended with a roundtable meeting that involved the administration of UTM and invited companies. The organizers thanked the representatives of companies for involvement and participation and the letter came up with a series of proposals for training future specialists.
