The section of Pushkin St of Chisinau that was closed a day ago in connection with works on the sewer pipe at the intersection with Bucuresti St was reopened to traffic. This way trolleybuses No. 2, 10 and 24 run again on their usual routes, while the temporary bus route “Telecentru-Centru” was suspended.
Contacted by IPN, acting head of the General Public Transport and Communications Division Vitalie Butucel said the works were finished faster than expected and the public transport can thus travel again on Puskin St. Only trolleybus route No. 3 that goes through Bucuresti St was suspended, but they are considering the possibility of freeing a lane for this.
Vice director for exploitation of the Urban Bus Company Marcel Lupanchuk has told IPN that the temporary bus route that ensured connection between the Centru district and the Telecentru quarter during a day was suspended this morning, at 8am.
