Before the winter holidays, the State University of Moldova (USM), in cooperation with the Meeting of God Church of Chisinau, starts a charity campaign entitled “With Love from the USM Hearts”. The fundraising event is aimed at collecting money for 500 children from placement centers and 200 older persons, IPN reports.
In a press release, USM says the campaign will take place during December 1, 2012 – January 14, 2022. Those who want can donate toys, school supplies, books, fruit, candies, packed food, clothing, footwear, hygiene products. The clothes and footwear must not be new, but should be in a neat and good state.
The presents can be taken to the Meeting of God Church that is situated in the campus of USM (67, Mihail Kogălniceanu St) between 10am and 4pm.
