USA to grant Moldova $11.9 M

The US Government will give Moldova some $11.9 million. A memo in this respect will be signed on November 20 by the Moldovan authorities and the Millennium Challenge Corporation, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Memorandum will be signed during the visit of the Millennium Challenge Corporation delegation led by its deputy president John Hewko to Moldova. The Millennium Challenge Program was created by the US Congress in 2004, on an initiative of President George W. Bush. The program provides for granting financial aid to poorer countries for their economic development.
