U.S. Senator John Sidney McCain to visit Chisinau

U.S. Senator John Sidney McCain is expected to come to Chisinau this weekend. He was invited to pay a visit to Moldova by Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government. At the Wroclaw Global Forum on June 10, Vlad Filat and John McCain will receive the Freedom Award presented yearly by the Atlantic Council. On June 12, Vlad Filat will have a meeting with the U.S. senator in Chisinau. The same day, John McCain will meet with Moldova’s Acting President Marian Lupu. John McCain was invited to Moldova earlier this year, when the Premier was in the United States on a working visit.
