Urs Imboden ranks 7th at Alpine Skiing European Cup

Moldovan skier Urs Imboden Thursday finished seventh in the slalom event of the Alpine Skiing European Cup that took place at the French resort Val Thorens, Info-Prim Neo reports. He completed the two races in 1 minute and 41.94 seconds. Another Moldovan skier, Christophe Roux abandoned the race during the first race. In the European Cup rankings, Imboden ranks 48th of 115 participants with 36 points. Both of the skiers will represent Moldova at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
