The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration updated the travel advisories according to the situation on November 27, 2020. In a press release that is quoted by IPN, the Ministry noted that the updated information is available on its website www.mfa.gov.md (COVID-19 travel advisories) or on https://bit.ly/33oq8MC.

The travel advisories provide information about the keeping or ending of the state of emergency, rules and restrictions for air, road and railway trips, exceptions in the case of transit and other data with links to the official source of information.

The data from the table can be modified if the authorities of the given states adopt other decisions. The information is published swiftly by Moldova’s embassies and consular offices abroad. According to the Ministry, the current information is based on the most recent available data and is collected from authorized and public national sources published in the division “COVID-19 travel advisories”.

Also, for the safety of the Moldovans abroad, in addition to the coordinates of embassies and consular offices, the Ministry has an active Call Center that can be contacted on 0 80 090 990 – free calls from any locality of the Republic of Moldova - or on +373 22 788 722 - free calls from abroad. The Call Center works from 8am until 5pm, Moldova’s time. Outside the working hours, the persons can send a message through call.center@mfa.gov.md or the Call Center’s Facebook page.

The Ministry recommends the Moldovans who have dual nationality, including of an EU member state, to additionally look for information about the keeping or lifting of the restrictions in Re-Open.
