A group of university teachers called on the inhabitants of Chisinau municipality to vote for the candidate for Chisinau mayoralty of the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” Andrei Nastase in the June 3 runoff vote. In a news conference at IPN, these said Andrei Nastase has the best electoral program that centers on the pressing problems of the capital city and outlines solutions to these.

State University of Moldova professor Sergiu Cataranciuc, Doctor Habilitate, read a statement of university teachers, which says that Andrei Nastase is a pro-European candidate, a person with a firm civic position who knows the needs and desires of the citizens. “I call on you to take an active part in the elections, to mobilize and urge the young people, students and university graduates to vote for Andrei Nastase on June 3,” stated Sergiu Cataranciuc.

The statement also says that Andrei Nastase, who is not indifferent to the socioeconomic situation in the country, abandoned the professional activity of lawyer and became involved in politics in order to contribute to better living standards in the capital city. His electoral program is aimed at solving the problems of young people so that they do not have to go abroad to work.

Professor of the Technical University Valeriu Dulgheru, Doctor Habilitate, urged especially the intellectuality to support Andrei Nastase in the rynoffs. In the presidential elections of November 2016, the intellectuality, not realizing the imminent danger, allowed a representative of the Socialists to be elected as President.

“On June 3, we will witness a big war. It will be a struggle between red and justice, between dignity and truth. We must think well and decide what we should do – allow the Socialists to control the capital city or save it,” stated Tamara Purice, teacher of the State University of Moldova.

Ex-deputy minister of education Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei noted that the residents of the capital city should unite and go to vote and offer support to candidate Andrei Nastase so as to lay the basis of an irreversible process and all those who now destroy the county are taken to a waste dump together with the corruption garbage.
