The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) kicks off the International Financial Education Week. A historical coin-minting press offered by the Romanian State Mint will be exhibited for the first time at the NBM museum, IPN reports.
Visitors will be able to discover the process of creating coins and participate in the creation of a symbolic coin dedicated to Global Money Week.
The event brings financial education to the fore through interactive workshops, mentoring sessions and the launch of the "FinanciarELE – female leadership community" project, intended for women in the financial-banking sector. As part of the initiative, NBM experts and international partners will hold educational sessions on monetary policies, investments and modern payments.
Global Money Week is organized in 176 countries and aims to encourage young people to develop their financial knowledge for a prosperous future.
