Undisciplined pedestrians die in Chisinau

Two pedestrians have died in Chisinau as they tried to cross streets in interdicted places, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Ambulance Service. On Renasterii ave., a female driver aged 24 hit a woman and killed her. Arriving at the place of the accident, the Ambulance doctors established the death of the victim and had to help the driver who was shocked. In the second accident on the viaduct linking Botanica and Centru districts of Chisinau, an elderly man, probably deaf, was crushed by a car. According to the driver he did not react to the driver's honking, not to shouts of other pedestrians. Both accidents could have been avoided, if the victims had used pedestrian crossings nearby to pass the streets.
