The underground passage near the Municipal Clinical Hospital No.1 of Chisinau is to be renovated. The responsible services will repair the stairs from all the four access ways, will clean the walls and sewerage system and will restore public lighting, IPN reports, with reference to the Chisinau City Hall.
The works were ordered by acting mayor Silvia Radu and will be executed during the next few days. In spring, this and other underground passages will be extensively repaired.
The decision to perform current repair works at the underground passage near the Municipal Clinical Hospital No.1 was taken in a move to improve access for a large number of people who cross this to reach the public transport station.
