Underage driver dies in Floresti car crash

A 17-year-old died instantly in an accident Saturday early morning after he drove a Volkswagen car at high speeds into a ditch and overturned it. Two other teenagers in the car were rushed to the Floresti District Hospital. It is thought the group was returning from a dance party form a village near the town of Floresti. The car belonged to the deceased boy's father. The case is investigated by the District Crimial Police as it is illegal to drive a car on public roads, apart from driving lessons, until the driver turns 18.
