The independent candidate for the office of President of the Republic of Moldova Tudor Ulyanovski launched the fourth promise of his electoral platform, focused on supporting families in Moldova. Ulyanovski says he pleads for healthy families provided with income at home, IPN reports.

“As soon as I become President, I will order the working out of a program for the economic and social development of the Republic of Moldova. The main concern of me and my team is to build a strong Moldova, where families will be able to earn a living here, in the country, in a stable economic environment,” Tudor Ulyanovski said on his Telegram channel.

The candidate promises to support local businesses and facilitate innovative initiatives by setting a tax of only 1% on individuals’ income from economic activities.

Tudor Ulyanovski also highlighted the measures to stimulate hiring, promising tax exemptions for companies that create jobs in strategic sectors. In addition, the candidate said that he will apply the “one in, one out” principle in order to reduce bureaucracy. “We will have a presidential economic council, with representatives from large companies, employers and the diaspora, to support the business community,” noted the candidate.

Also, Tudor Ulyanovski announced that he will give priority to national companies in the public procurement process and will allocate foreign loans only in production sectors, avoiding unsustainable consumption. “I have a plan for the reindustrialization of Moldova, which involves the opening of factories and plants in strategic areas,” said the candidate.

Ulyanovski also promised alternative solutions for the supply of natural gas and electricity in order to protect citizens from price increases and inflation. The diplomat and former foreign minister assured that he will contribute to identifying alternative solutions for gas and electricity purchases so as to keep prices and inflation under control, thus protecting the living standards of citizens.

Tudor Ulyanovski said that his electoral program entitled “You for a normal Moldova” brings to the fore ten essential priorities regarding the construction of a modern and prosperous country. This program is addressed to all citizens and lays emphasis on economic development, increase in the population’s income, attraction of investments and improvement of infrastructure.
