The children from Ukraine who are identified unaccompanied at Moldovan border crossing points are accommodated at a temporary placement center set up in Cărpineni village of the municipality of Hâncești, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

The Ukrainian citizens can cross the Moldovan-Ukrainian border with internal IDs, such as national identity cards or passports. The minors are allowed to also enter with the national birth certificate.
