Russia is close to launching a provocation against its own military, which will be blamed on the Ukrainian army. The given provocation could be staged in the Transnistrian region, as the main Information Division of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine posted on social media, IPN reports, with reference to Ukrainian sources.
“According to data of the military information service of Ukraine, a working meeting of the third Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Transnistrians region of the Republic of Moldova was held on January 13. In this, the unit’s personnel were informed about possible provocations on the part of Ukraine near Cobasna (artillery storehouses of the Operational Group of Russian Forces)”, said the source.
The personnel weren’t ordered to be on alert, but the commanders were instructed to tell the inferiors to come to the brigade immediately after they are called and be ready to fulfill the entrusted tasks.
