Current holders UA-Basco have reached the semi-finals of the Moldovan Cup at basketball, IPN reports.
The Balti-based outfit bested Speranta Chisinau, which is the national youth team of Moldova. UA-Basco won the first leg 115-78 and the second one 119-100. In the semi-finals, they will take on CS Soroca-Baschet. The latter team also got past a capital-based club, UTM, to reach this stage.
In the other fixtures, BC Causeni eliminated BC Ribnita and Gamma Cahul defeated SSRTRO-2 Bender.
