The Under-17 and Under-19 women’s football teams of Moldova play the matches of the UEFA European Championships these days, IPN reports.
The U17 team was beaten by Norway 0-6 and by the Netherlands 0-13 and is yet to meet Bulgaria at the Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau. The mini-tournament is hosted by Moldova.
Instead, the U19 team is in Bulgaria, where it also has played two games so far. Moldova lost to Turkey 0-1 and to the Netherlands 0-4. The team trained by Alina Stetsenko plays Bulgaria on October 24.
